Centrifugal Filter

The centrifugal mesh filter is a commonly used composite water treatment device in the agricultural irrigation industry. It combines two principles — centrifugal separation and mesh filtration — specifically designed to remove heavy solid impurities such as sand and gravel from water. It is an efficient and economical solution for water pre-treatment.

Working Principle (Two-Stage Filtration)

Stage 1: Centrifugal Separation (Coarse Filtration) Water enters the conical centrifugal cylinder tangentially, forming a high-speed vortex inside. Heavier particles like sand and gravel are thrown against the cylinder wall by centrifugal force, then sink down into the sediment collection tank at the bottom, separating most of the heavy impurities.

Stage 2: Mesh Filtration (Fine Filtration) Water that has undergone centrifugal separation then passes through a stainless steel mesh filter, which captures fine suspended solids and remaining impurities. After this dual filtration process, clean water flows out from the outlet, protecting downstream drip irrigation and sprinkler pipelines and nozzles from clogging.
